chaiFresh bridges traditional Indian chai to the American market where every dollar made goes back to what started it all, the children in India. During my trip to India, I was inspired by the children selling Chai on the side of the street, who instead of going to school, had to work to support their families. I decided to help fund educational opportunities hopefully change the lives of children across the globe one cup of masala tea at a time.
Backstory
I was inspired to create this company during my trip to India in 2015. It was the first time I had been and I had never been so fully immersed in culture and tradition. Rendering back on the trip I remember two things, the thousands of cows roaming the streets and the amazing Chai I had every morning. My grandfather and I would wake up early each morning and line up to get a small two-ounce cup of the from the street. My grandmother had warned me to be wary of the delicacies lining the roads but the smell of the chai was irresistible. When I came back the Starbucks chai tea latte just didn't taste the same and I realized what it was missing the authentic, real India spices.
